Who you are
- You have at least 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes
- You are experienced in Helm and Terraform
- You are familiar with running Kubernetes inside Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- You have a strong fundamental understanding of cloud hosting infrastructures
- You care about quality
- You are comfortable working independently and reaching out across organizational boundaries to aid in problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for managing the deployment of cloud-based microservices for a complex, data-driven web application with a small, proven team. Emphasis on continuous deployment, within a modern agile environment.
- You will take over the deployment and administration of a Kubernetes cluster running in Azure Kubernetes Service. Helm Charts include Rook, Redis, and OpenFaas. The application is a Node.js application running in OpenFaas. The database is a columnar-storage DBMS
- Willingness to work on anything wherever needed. Nothing is outside of your job description
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Cloud experience, preferably in a serverless environment (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working within a CI/CD environment
- A burning desire to build an insanely great product and make an impact

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000.00-$155,000.00 per year in Canadian Dollars or equivalent
